One of the most productive things that you
can do to improve your Access development is to add some essential controls to
your Toolbars for Form and Report design.
Here is how you add some really useful buttons to
your Toolbox toolbar
Step 1 - Select
Toolbar In Customize Mode

Step 2 - Select form/report design in the
commands Tab. Drag the Align right/top/left/bottom buttons and drop them
on your Toolbox toolbar.

Step 3 - Copy the Duplicate control button
onto the toolbox

Step 4 - Your Toolbox should look
something like this

Improving Your Report Design
Shortcut menu (Right Click)
Step 1 - Select the toolbar customize
menu and check the box next to Shortcut menus.

Step 2 - Choose Report - Design View Control
Now copy Font Size from the Form/Report Design menu
across to the Design View Control shortcut menu.

until your shortcut menu looks as follows |

Step 4 - Repeat steps 1-3 for the form design
shortcut menu.
Step 5 - Add your own favorite design options
to the menu's.
