When you choose the Most Recently Used (MRU) menu item, you are presented with a form like that shown in Figure 2 below. Here you can select from the last databases used by Access. Generally Access 2000, 2002 and 2003 will keep 9 entries and Access 97 will keep 4 entries. To select a database, click on the hyperlink and it will be selected for use by the Workbench.

To use this form, you may need to switch the version of Access that you want to review the Most Recently Used for.  If you select a database from a different MRU list, the default version of Access 2000+ will be changed to that version.

Add Database To Favorite List

Before you select a database, if you think that you want to reuse the database over and over again, why not add it to the UNREGISTERED EVALUATION VERSION.

Changing Your Default Way Of Selecting a Database

If you like this option more than the select database by browsing option, all you need to do is place a tick in the check box at the bottom of this form entitled "Always use this Form as the Select database interface". If you check the option, this form will turn up instead.

Hint:  If you wish to deal other databases on a regular basis, save them in the Workbench favorites.
